Unakite Tumbles

Description

Unakite is also known under the name Epidote Granite, this is because it is actually a special type of granite with epidote, pink orthoclase, and quartz inclusions! Its name came from the location it was discovered: Unaka Mountains in western North Carolina. The Smithsonian Museum in Washington, DC has unakite trim along the steps leading to one of the entrances.
